Hyrum was thrilled to "shave" with Daddy. I think you can see the smile in his eyes!
I held my last session of preschool (a 3 week turn) which included Presidents Day. The big hits of the session were cleaning pennies and talking about Abraham Lincoln, "buying" their snacks with fake money and talking about the presidents on the money, lighting a candle in mini snack cakes and singing "Happy Birthday" to President Washington and Lincoln, and building Lincoln's cabin as a snack (pretzles, wheat thins and peanut butter spread over an orange juice carton).
Leah had a Daddy daughter party at church, minus her Daddy who was on a business trip. Our faithful home teacher saved the day and took Leah along with his daughter. We're grateful for these good friends! The night was a "nerd" night and so Leah did her best to look like Steve Erkel from the tv show "Family Matters". Our home teacher dressed up as the ultimate nerd, a scoutmaster. I can say that since Jared's the scoutmaster! :)
March hasn't been very newsworthy which truly is fine in our book. Nice to have a fairly low-key month!

Leah's cracking me up in that picture, and cute idea with the pretzel log cabins!
Oh wow Leah makes one great Steve Erkel! Looks like we should get all our boys together for a shaving party. And man you have such good ideas for preschool! I bet you're relieved it's over though. ;)
