Amy Update

I have more to blog for the time between the New Year and now, but Amy deserves a highlight before I get to all that.  Her little brain has been firing lately...it's quite a task trying to keep up with her independence and curiosity.  This week she saw me use my phone to take some pictures.  Later that evening I let her play a game on the phone.  Well, I thought she was playing the game.  She came over and said, "Look, it's me!"  These are a few of the pictures I found (I love how you can see the progression of her learning to take a picture of herself):

Tonight she was singing one of her favorite songs, "I Am a Child of God".  She decided to try out the second verse that starts, "I am a child of God, and so my needs are great".  She sang her interpretation which is, "I am a child of God...Pizza is great!"  I guess one of her needs is pizza!
