Few more "Amy"isms

Last week while Jared was at Woodbadge I was pretty exhausted by the time we went to church.  I just wanted to make it through the day without being noticed and then crash at home.  Amy had other ideas.  The opening song in our Sacrament Meeting was "I Am a Child of God" which also happens to be her favorite song.  She sang the whole thing so loud that all the people around us, people not around  us, and the people on the stand were giggling and looking to see who was singing.  I tried to capture her singing at home...it's not as loud, but still has some gusto.

I also neglected to mention something funny from her birthday.  In our family we play a "game" as we open gifts.  We say "heavy heavy hangover thy poor head, what do you wish this person with a bump on the head" as we bump the present on the birthday person's head.  The birthday person is supposed to give a wish to the gift giver.  We tried it with Amy this year and I didn't know if she would catch on.  There was a long pause when we asked what she wished the first person (Kaitlyn).  She said, "Ummm..............................not a bike".  Then she wished Kaitlyn a rainbow and the moon.  She wished everybody else a star.  I thought those were pretty thoughtful wishes for a 3 year old!

Yesterday in the car I also heard her tell everyone, "Mom's good, not ugly!"  Well, okay then!

Last night we had a fun game night with our friends the Bells who have just moved here from Connecticut.  We played Guesstures (charades) and Amy kept wanting a turn.  We gave her a "turn" and this is how it turned out:
