We were overwhelmed with help from our ward family. They came on General Conference morning starting at 7am in large numbers to get our yard in order. They accomplished in a few hours what would have taken us months probably to complete. We were so grateful!
We were also grateful to Jared's dad for the help he was able to give us. We were so busy the whole time we didn't think to take pictures! One major project that happened though was wiring the basement. Jared's dad discovered that our finished basement had never been wired for the heating and cooling system. We never noticed because we had never turned on the heating and cooling in the basement. We had the problem of running wires from one end of the house to the other when the ceiling had already been finished off. Hyrum saved the day! Jared sent him in to crawl between the main floor and the basement ceiling for about 8 feet to grab a hold of some wires Jared and his dad had been able to fish through the rest of the ceiling. He felt like a true hero and he was!
