Feb. 23rd - Jared left for Germany and Rome. He got back March 6th only to turn around and go to Woodbadge March 7th. We picked him up March 7th in the afternoon with barely enough time to rush to Kaitlyn's Honors Chorus concert.
March 9th - Jared left for Miami and got back March 13th.
March 16th - Jared was called to be the bishop of a brand new ward in our area. Life became quite a blur for a while after that!! I felt like I was walking in a daze.
March 17th - I "taught" Joyschool while in my daze. It actually turned out to be one of the best Joyschool days I've ever had because I was not as prepared as usual because of my daze and so we just had fun instead of a lot of structured activities.
Sporting our leprechaun mustaches
Hunting for gold coins
Spontaneous hug! This is what happened when our day wasn't too structured!!
Kaitlyn and Hyrum got in on the fun before school that morning.
That evening we attended "Tapestry", the Gwinnett County art recognition exhibit. Kaitlyn was one of a handful of students featured in the exhibit. She was even interviewed for the school county website while we attended the exhibit.
March 28th - Jared's parents, Janna, my parents and Michelle arrived to be here when he was sustained as bishop. They got here in time to see Hyrum's first Pinewood derby where he was awarded best in show!
We are very grateful to both sets of parents, Janna and Michelle who sacrificed to come support us at this life-changing time. We are grateful to come from such wonderful families!
