Amy the Swimmer!

One of Amy's goals this summer was to learn to swim.  It didn't look like she would make it at first.  She was terrified to put her face in the water.  She worked on it a little at a time and yesterday she asked to be able to wear her puddle jumper.  I told her she could only if while she wore it she put her face in the water, kicked her legs, and used her arms to try swimming.  She got pretty good at that.  I told her she was ready to try it without her puddle jumper, not thinking she would do it that day.  She surprised me by giving it a try and then took off.  She was so proud of herself!  She kept doing happy dances!
