Due to stormy weather we ended up sitting on the plane for an hour and a half before takeoff. The humidity was so high that with the air conditioning in the plane caused condensation fog throughout the plane. We had never seen anything like it! It's hard to see from the picture, but if you look up the aisle you will notice that you can't see the person at the front from all the fog.
When we arrived in Utah we headed to Eric and Morgan's house where they had prepared a delicious dinner for us. We must have been too tired to think about taking pictures, because now I see we don't have any! We loved visiting with them for a few hours. Then we headed to Aaron & Lisa's house for bed. The next day we visited Temple Square and the Conference Center with lots of family. Lisa and her kids joined us, Grandpa, Grandma & Michelle came, and Geniel came with her kids. Our kids loved seeing some of their Utah cousins again!
Amy drew a picture in the children's section of the Church History Museum. She hung it proudly.
This is how they "walked" for some of their time in Salt Lake.
We stopped for lunch at Crown Burger, one of the places Jared & I ate on our honeymoon.
While we were in Utah we were able to meet up with Jared's mission president and his wife, President and Sister Johnson.
To celebrate the 4th of July we went to BYU's Stadium of Fire on July 2nd and then hiked the Y on July 4th. Geniel, Michael & Isabelle joined us. Geniel even hiked the Y with boxes of donuts so we would have a treat when we arrived at the top!
Playing games until the fireworks started
Isabelle bought each of the girls these glow in the dark patriotic glasses.
