Long Time No Blogging!

Man, it's hard to keep up with this blog at this stage of our family life!  The last big entry was the kids' first day of school.  Well, they are more than half way done with their first semester now, so obviously a lot has been happening.  Much of it is just busy day to day life.  We also have extra busyness because Genevieve has enrolled as a BYU-I online student and spends a ton of time on coursework each week.  Jared has also been to Germany for work twice since school started, once for a week, and once for two weeks.  We just try to keep it together around here.  Here are some of the highlights:

Amy and Hyrum had some of their school work on display for curriculum night.

This bucket full of memories for Amy was supposed to be things she could write about if she ever ran out of ideas.  I thought it was funny that she wrote down "a bucket full of toys in a room your dad said you couldn't go in".

We attended "Dress/Talk like a Pirate" day at Krispy Creme. 

Hyrum made himself a peg leg.

 Kaitlyn decided to improvise on a costume and go as long beard.

Hyrum participated in Greek day at school and enjoyed his outfit.

Amy and Hyrum participated in the Reflections contest at school.  This year's theme was "My Story".  Hyrum drew a picture of the BYU cougar because he wants his story to be going to BYU.  Amy wrote a poem that described her using the letters from "jump rope" because she loves to jump rope.

Leah had a school concert with her Advanced Chamber orchestra and a community concert with the Gwinnett Symphony Youth Orchestra.  There are so many concert clips that after I post these I'll start a new post to keep catching up.
