November

Catching up on the blog is a slow process, but I still want to document all the fun we have had as a family.

November 2016 had the following:
One of Jared's co-workers found his ad on display in Taiwan.
Hyrum participated in the Reflections contest.  The theme was "My Story".  He drew a picture of a BYU cougar because he wants to go to BYU.
Jared and Hyrum worked together to replace the clutch on Jared's car.
Hyrum had Jared take Rex, his school mascot, to work and made a poster about the experience.  Hyrum wanted Jared to make sure he took Rex to the hot chocolate machine!
We got to take a trip to Six Flags, sponsored by Jared's work.  Amy went on her first "roller coaster" and was this excited afterwards!
Six Flags was all decked out for Christmas.  We don't get much snow at all in Georgia, so it was pretty to see all the light displays instead.
I loved the stain glass nativity!

Leah and Kaitlyn riding the skyline.
Six flags had a snow machine set up, so the kids enjoyed some snow in Georgia!

We went to the library and found that Hyrum and Amy could make a fun Thanksgiving craft.

We enjoyed having our friends the Nilssons over for Thanksgiving dinner.  This is the only picture we got, but it shows we were well fed!

When I lived in Florida, there were spots in Disney that did the 'fake snow'--I was told it was soap shavings. I see Amy was catching the snowflakes on her tongue, was there any regret? Did Six Flags use soap?
