December 2018

December was a full month full of fun experiences.

We went as a family to Six Flags.

We surprised the kids with tickets to a Piano Guys concert.

Someone caught Amy practicing to be a future organist during choir practice:

Hyrum participated in the elementary school's International Night. He represented the United States as a cub scout.

We took the kids ice skating.

Leah and her friend Dallas contributed to a corny letter to the missionaries.

We invited some friends over and made gingerbread houses.

Jared made more progress on the basement.

Hyrum and Amy had school class parties. Hyrum's was an evening party where he and Amy were able to go roller-skating.

Jared took Hyrum to Waffle House where he was proud of himself for being able to eat the All-Star Breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs, hashbrowns, 2 pieces of toast, a waffle and sausage.

We went caroling and found that at one house, the sweet sister had crocheted hats for all of us.

Hyrum had his school Christmas chorus concert.

Kaitlyn had a group violin recital where they all played the same Christmas songs together.

Leah's orchestra group played at a local library.

We went to Pennsylvania before Christmas this year and spent some time there.
