May was full of events including awards ceremonies, Kaitlyn's birthday, Hyrum's 8th grade promotion, and Kaitlyn's graduation high school graduation. I'll give a separate post dedicated to Kaitlyn, so here is the rest of the month of May.
Amy was awarded many honors at the 6th grade awards ceremony, including the Top Dog award (each teacher picked one student that showed achievements in academics and leadership). She was selected by her science teacher.
We celebrated Kaitlyn's 18th birthday.

Leah, Kaitlyn, and Amy performed a violin trio rendition of "Love At Home" with Jared accompanying on Mother's Day. It was beautiful!

Kaitlyn and I went to Hyrum's 8th grade walk on the last day of school. The 8th graders walk around the perimeter of the school 3 times while the other students, parents, teachers, and administrators cheer them on. It was nice to have Kaitlyn with me, because Hyrum was much more expressive to her cheers than he would have been to mine! As part of the tradition, we made a yard sign for Hyrum that was displayed at the front of the school.
We joined our good friends the Joneses for dinner and sadly said goodbye as they prepare to move to West Virginia.
I snagged a cute picture of the kids in preparation for Father's Day.
