Vacation!

We just got back from a trip to Utah as a family. We had a wonderful time and got to do many fun things. We drove there, so we had the opportunity to stop in Liberty MO on the way and see the Independence Visitors Center and Liberty Jail. Those were special experiences for our family. Next we got to stop near Denver CO and spend the night with Dianne! She made a wonderful dinner and dessert and it was just so fun to see where she lives and spend time with her. When we got to Utah we spent a week and a half visiting family in Spanish Fork, Provo,& Genola. We took bunches of pictures, so I'll break them up into different categories.

Travel to Utah

Timpanogos Cave - We hiked 1 1/2 miles up Timpanogos Mountain and climbed over 1000 feet in elevation to get to the Caves. Leah said she gave up literally half way. I told her that if we turned around she would have to go just as far but wouldn't see the caves. We made it and then she had fun on the way down cheering everyone else on and telling them they could do it. Check out Hyrum's sunscreen head (I gooped up his scalp with suncsreen since he wouldn't wear a hat).

Fun with family in Genola

These last slides are from my sister Michelle who is studying to be a photographer. She took a lot of really good pictures (too many to post) so I picked a few of my favorites. I like her natural pose style.

What a great photo journal. Hyrum is growing up so fast - he's such a cutie!

Looks like you all had a TON of fun. Glad you got to see so many relatives. We're looking forward to a trip to Utah in August. Hopefully we'll see all of you before then! We LOVED all the pictures! Especially Michelle's - she's good!
