Birthday Happy Party

Kaitlyn has been excited for literally months to have a friend birthday party, so we knew we would have to do something. Knowing also that we would be in new baby mode we were relieved when she chose a manageable theme. She wanted to have a backwards birthday party (idea we found online). So, what happens at such a party?

Well, you invite the kids to wear their clothes backwards or inside out.

You eat the cake first.

You call each other by your backwards name.

You read a book backwards.

You play "pin the donkey on the tail" by walking backwards.

You play Sardines instead of Hide and Seek.

You let the kids make individual inside out pinatas to take home.

You sing, "Birthday Happy You To" to the birthday girl, let the kids wrap up their goodie bags and breathe a sigh of relief to have another birthday party taken care of. Kaitlyn was thrilled with the party, so we're happy!
