Jared and I celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary. For part of the date we went to the Botanical Gardens at UGA in Athens to see the Christmas Lights.
Video links of lights in motion (one has the music erased due to copyright restrictions - Youtube blocked it - imagine Trans-Siberian Orchestra music playing):
We were excited for Leah and Kaitlyn to come home!
We took a trip to the Atlanta Temple to do proxy baptisms as a family.
We participated in the Light the World Campaign and served at our local Giving Machines.
We made gingerbread houses.
We hosted the missionary transfer fireside for the zone.
One of the Elders, Elder Wright, is closely related to Aaron Wright (Genevieve's brother-in-law). He walked in with a hearty, "Hi family!"
The Young Women in our ward put on a special Christmas Nativity reading for our Christmas lesson on Sunday. Amy is sporting a great mustache and beard!
Christmas Eve Jared played Tomten, the Swedish Santa.
We enjoyed Christmas Eve and Christmas morning together!
December 26th we travelled to Pittsburgh to see family. On the 27th we attended the Pittsburgh Temple baptistry with cousins and then went back in the evening to perform proxy sealings with Jared's dad as the sealer.
We had a lot of fun playing with family members in Pennsylvania.
Minute to Win it wrapping a present with one hand for each team member.
Videos of minute to win it games:
We had some good sports playing the shock game Hyrum got for Christmas.
Sky-Jo
Janna LOVED being the recipient of one of the Minute to Win It games where teams raced to create reindeer antlers from balloons and pantyhose. She got lots of chuckles as she considered her new hat.
We enjoyed a fun New Year's Eve party with family!
Grandma Bingo is Epic!
