Mail!

Hey, we got mail delivered today! That was refreshing. We've had no mail all week because the postal emplyees couldn't get to work. Our stores have been wiped out, and many gas stations were running out of gas. It makes you stop and realize that it doesn't take much for a community to shut down. School's cancelled again tomorrow. Fortunately, the roads look pretty good right now, so we're going to make a run for the store before we get a refreeze tonight. We don't really need anything except a cure for cabin fever!

I saw a friend's comment on Facebook that she took her kids to McDonald's yesterday just to get rid of cabin fever but ended up being frustrated because they were almost entirely out of food. Her kids ate chicken strips and she said she now knows what food McDonald's sells the least of. :)

Saturday we should be in the 50's, so we should be getting back to normal!

Wow! It really does make you stop and think how much infrastructure we take for granted. I'm glad your mail service is back and that the forecast looks good. =)
