October 2019

Amy won 1st place in the elementary school impressions contest for 4th grade. The theme was "Look Within." She wrote a poem also titled, "Look Within."

Look Within the orb,

tell me what you see,

and as you absorb,

this great and foggy sea,

see what is unseen,

be what nobody can be,

soon you will see the future,

tell me the things you can see.

Look within the sky,

see the what the world will be,

go and move the mountains,

and walk on all the seas,

I hope when you come back,

there is lots to tell to me.

Look within the underground,

beyond the fiery core,

see the rocks and pebbles,

deep beneath the shore,

but to see and hear beyond the mirror,

you look within the orb,

and share your adventures with me.

We went to the temple for Kaitlyn to participate in proxy baptisms. Hyrum and Amy enjoyed feeling the Spirit on the temple grounds while we waited for her.

We went on a family hike.

Amy and I went to a Halloween mother daughter party. Amy enjoyed being able to hold a new baby that was born to a family in the ward.

We got pictures of Leah enjoying her new winter gear for Utah.

We went as Taco Bell sauce packets to the ward Fall Festival. The kids chose individual costumes for Halloween.

Kaitlyn had an orchestra concert. Links below:
