Colors Preschool Part 1

We had preschool for Hyrum here today and will have it Thursday.  He got to pick the theme since Thursday will be his preschool "birthday party".  He chose colors a long time ago and has stuck with it.  I wasn't sure what we would do, but we found some fun ideas online.  Here are some pictures from today:
 Group picture

Fruit Loop necklaces and color coded coloring sheets (color all the triangles blue, circles red, & squares green)

Painting with colored sweetened condensed milk (to make the paint dry shiny) and Q-tips

Absorption experiment - we put drops of food coloring on a paper towel and watched what happened when we put the other end in some water and the water traveled up the towel.  Hyrum is dressed up as Captain America from play time.
Rainbow snack Who knew you could have so much fun with colors!  Thursday we'll see what happens when you mix colors.  :)

Wow...what a fun day! Thanks for all the creative things you always do with the kids, Genevieve! Ashby said today, "Wow, that was lots of fun today!" as we were walking to our car! :> Thanks, again!
