My Offering

If you remember my post from March 18th, I was impressed with the idea of "selling" something to help with relief efforts in Japan. I wrote that maybe, maybe, I would come up with something of my own to sell. Well, I've been working on a musical arrangement since then that I would like to "sell". My prayers have gone something like this:

"I don't have a lot of time to do this, but if it would be a good thing to do, please help me to hear this piece of music."

I was grateful to start hearing the music and have the opportunity to arrange it. It is written for soprano, alto, tenor & bass. It is 4 pages long and is based on the scriptures from Matthew 25: 31-40.

So, if you would like to purchase this choir music, please make a contribution to a charity such as the Red Cross, LDS Humanitarian Services, or make an online donation to my sister and brother-in-law's cause at twoinfertileturtles.blogspot.com. I'm thinking the donation is whatever you would like to pay for a piece of sheet music (I usually pay around $3-4). If you don't have extra money for a donation, how about just do something for someone. It's all the same. After you've made any donation, e-mail me at jaredgenevieve@bellsouth.net. I will then send you the pdf file. I hope this is a positive contribution. If you don't care for the music, you can feel good that you contributed to a worthwhile cause. :) I would love to just post the music on the web and let you print it out for yourself, but I can't figure out how to do this without purchasing Adobe Acrobat, and I don't want to spend that kind of money right now. It would kind of defeat the purpose.

If anyone knows how to save Finale Print music files in a format I could post online, please let me know. I found out how to save the files in jpeg format, but when you print them they come out light gray.

Here are the jpeg pictures of the music:

It looks like you can click on a page, right click on the image to copy it, and then paste it into another program such as Microsoft Word. Then, you could print it out yourself if you would like.
