Shoe Bees!

Hyrum is still very nervous around bees even though we've told him repeatedly that the bees out right now don't sting. The bees we have are huge bumble-bee looking bees that actually just eat wood. So, yesterday we were out on our deck with the bees buzzing around and Hyrum started having a fit. We told him just to shoo the bees away and showed him how. He liked this and then he said, "Hey. Wait a minute. I'll go inside and get a shoe so we can shoe the bees."

He's so literal right now in a very cute way. We had cheesecake for dessert last night and he commented how funny it was to have a cake made out of cheese!

I'm glad that he was able to get a shoe to handle the bees. Good job Hyrum! Rachel can't stand bugs. She just freezes and screams. She doesn't want to "shoe it" away. I will have to show her Hyrum's picture. Maybe it will help her be brave!

So funny! Tanner always grabs a shoe but his is more smashing than "shoeing"! Ha! And man I could use some good cheesecake right now. Yum!
