Misc. Catch Up

After picking up Leah from the orchestra camp, we went out to dinner and then for a treat.  We found this roadside creamery and enjoyed homemade icecream!

July 28th we hosted a missionary open house for Nicholas Angell.  While my sister Lisa was here she taught me how to make this quilt for Nicholas. Thank you Lisa!  Each tie represented something about Nicholas.  The first was his greenie tie with bear paw prints because he will be in California and there's a bear on the CA flag.  The second was a scouting tie because he's an Eagle Scout.  The third was because he attended Georgia Tech.  The 4th tie and the outside border are because he is in a Spanish speaking mission.  The music is because Nicholas is a very talented musician.

August 3rd our ward had a Primary Variety Show.  Hyrum and Kaitlyn did a lip sync to "Once There Was a Snowman" by the group Inside Out.  Pretty fun stuff!
